Belisario Choir VS BEM

It’s like kind a rival, but actually it is not. Both of Belisario Choir and BEM are two organization that I’ve ever join. I say it “versus” because this organization is really different each other. The people inside are also different, from the way wearing a cloth, the styles, and the behavior. I am, me, myself, in this situation is placed in the middle, I am going to explain more about this.

The first is Belisario Choir. This is a choir in Sriwijaya University. The members of this can be from any faculty of Sriwijaya University, not only regular program (Indralaya campus) but also non regular program (Bukit campus). To become a member of Belisario Choir, it must do audition first. The audition is the process of selection including knowing the knowledge of music, voice, and musical not before become the members. In my period before I join Belisario Choir, there are about 200 students of Sriwijaya University have audition. Then, from the 200 students, only 40 students who become the members, others were failed. Thank God, I am in the 40 students who become member. I join this since 2008 until now.

Every new semester we always have different courses which must be taken. Usually we have different lecturers who teach us in every semester. When I looked at the list of what lesson and who will teach us, I really felt surprise. Oh my God! Professor Chuzaimah Dahlan diem, MLS., Ed.D. would teach me again. Actually she ever taught me before when I was in first semester. I knew she is kind, friendly, and best professor I’ve ever met. But, sometimes I felt afraid when she taught me. She wanted us to do the best for English, that’s a perfect purpose. But when I can’t do the best in her class, that what makes me afraid to meet her again. Besides her, I also saw name Sheila Noveta who would also teach us. It seems like I ever hear that name before, yeah… I knew that name when Prof. Chuzaimah asked us to copy a poem of English in a cassette when we had pronunciation class in the first semester. But, I didn’t know how she looks like, is she kind person or not, at that time. Then, both of them would teach us for Teaching and Learning Strategies. Before I learnt about this class, I really didn’t know what we would learn in this class. So I asked with my senior class to get more information about this subject to have more preparation before I join this class.

Apa sih maksud menulis??? Apa hanya tulis huruf A, B, C, …. Oh, ternyata tidak begitu demikian yang saya maksud. I mean menulis dalam arti membuat sebuah karya, bisa berupa artikel, cerpen, novel, puisi, yang tentu saja dibuat dengan hasil jerih payah sendiri, asli buatan pribadi, tanpa copas dari manapun.
Menulis merupakan sebuah ungkapan perasaan seseorang melalui tulisan. Banyak cara yang digunakan orang untuk mengungkapkan sesuatu. Bisa langsung ngomong (tapi kalo ga berani ya tulisan bisa menjadi alternative lain), atau juga dengan body language (menangis, tertawa, diem aja bengong), ada juga yang teriak sekuat-kuatnya sebagai ungkapan perasaan yang ia rasa saat itu (bisa saat senang atau sedih), trus ada juga yang banting barang sebagai rasa pengungkapannya (waduh, yang ini gawat kalo yang dibanting barang berharga). Makanya, kalau menurut saya, menulis merupakan jalan yang baik bagi seseorang untuk mengungkapkan isi hatinya.
Saya sangat ingin bisa menulis (yang bagus, kalo iseng ya semua orang bisa). Terkadang saya iri dengan teman saya yang pandai menulis dengan indah. Tulisannya melantun indah bagaikan alunan musik yang syahdu, orang-orang begitu menikmatinya. Tapi, saya tidak yakin kalau saya bisa seperti mereka. Mungkin saya terlalu merasa putus asa. Saya hanya bisa menulis di diary (sampe-sampe saya punya 3 buku diary –SMP, SMA, Kuliah— hehe).
Oh menulis………………
Ehm…….. saya tidak boleh menyerah begitu saja. Kalau orang lain bisa, kenapa kita tidak??? Ya kan??? Oleh karena itu, melalui blog yang sederhana ini saya berusaha untuk belajar menulis. Saya tahu, hasil tulisan saya tidak seindah Habiburrahman El Shirazy atau J. K. Rowling. Hhaha, ya tentu saja. Saya hanya pemula yang ingin belajar menulis, tidak sama seperti novelist terkenal.
Semoga lambat laun dengan berlatih menulis seperti ini kelak saya bisa menulis dengan baik.
Oya, saya sebenarnya sedikit mengetahui tips-tips untuk menulis yang saya dapatkan waktu kuliah in writing and pernah juga waktu nonton di NHK World, tapi tetap saja hasil tulisan saya masih pas-pasan,neh tipsnya:
Miliki 1 buku khusus, berupa notebook kecil. Tuliskan apa saja yang ada di pikiran kamu saat ini, mungkin sedang bahagia, sedih, kecewa, pokoknya everything in your mind.
Apa yang sedang dipikirkan dan yang kita tulis bisa berupa kata-kata atau kalimat. Tidak perlu langsung menyusun paragraph yang kompleks.
Setelah lumayan banyak referensi kata dari yang kita tulis lalu bisa langsung menyusun kata dan kalimat acak tersebut menjadi lebih bermakna.
Then, harus optimis kalo “I can do it!”
Ehm….. dimulai dari menulis dari diary juga bagus loh..
Jangan pernah malas mencoba untuk mencoba menulis, mulailah dari sekarang.
Berdoa kepada Allah SWT, mohon bantuan kepada-Nya and dimudahkan dalam belajar untuk menulis.
Oya, sebelum memulai menulis jangan lupa baca Basmalah and aktivitas lain juga harus baca basmalah ya.
